How Do You Measure Success? PDF Print

How do you measure the quality of your child's education? GPA? SAT scores?   At Kingspoint Christian School, our students do very well in those areas--but a well-rounded education is much, much, more...

W
e offer an education that encompasses the entire student...emotionally, spiritually, and academically using a relevant and current fundamental curriculum that challenges each student to achieve their potential.

Kingspoint students are encouraged to develop their personal relationship with God.  Our daily schedule encourages personal and prayerful communication with God, as well as a group praise and worship.  Worship is a cherished time.  It gives the students a chance to really get to know each other...their struggles and their triumphs.

Our teachers have the freedom to discuss theology, morality integrity and to use a scriptural perspective when dealing with issues.

Students of Character

We nurture strong moral character and integrity every day.  We reinforce those values by creating opportunities for staff and students to serve others and our community.

Even corrective disciplinary action is administered with love, compassion and prayer.

Each year students participate in community service and outreach project such as collections for the needy and city cleanup projects.  Staff, students, and parents tackle these project volunteering time and resources.   Occasionally, these service projects function as fundraisers for various school related projects or children's charities.

Making Academic Excellence a Priority

Kingspoint offers a solid program based on a Biblical world view.

Our teachers are qualified and caring Christians.

Our program is well-balanced, offering many of the extras: music, drama, computer labs, worship team, Spanish, advanced math, integrated science program, as well as taking advantage of value-added programs based on the talents of staff and parents.  Kingspoint also offers middle and high-school sports according to the interest and support of its families.

Our high school students are eligible to participate in the Running Start Program, where students attend classes at Columbia Basin College-receiving college and high school credits simultaneously.

A Low Student to Teacher Ratio

At Kingspoint, our students receive personal attention due to our low student-to-ratio.  Our teachers acknowledge and nurture the individual learning styles and specific strengths of each child, which enhances self-esteem and confidence.

Kindergarten at Kingspoint

Our Kindergarten programs for 4 and 5-year olds focus on academic achievement as well as the arts.  The academic curriculum covers math, science, social studies, phonics-based reading, and scripture memorization.  Throughout the year students take part in music, art and drama performances that build and reinforce positive moral character and social skills

Students are welcomed into a caring and nurturing environment that allows students to progress at their own academic level because of our low student-to-teacher ratio.

Kindergartners take an active part in our community through service-oriented activities and field trips.  Parents are a welcomed part of our program and often assist in the classroom.

A graduation ceremony highlights the accomplishments of the school year for our K5 program.
